Along the banks of the Russian River, from the towering redwood trees to the majestic Pacific Ocean, a diverse and precious ecosystem awaits. We invite you to join us on a journey that will connect you with this wild community, refresh your senses, and fill your soul.
COVID-19 Safety Standards:
Please note that there are new safety measures to keep everyone healthy. We at Sonomads are committed to protecting the health and safety of our community and have established proper protocol to ensure sanitized equipment and social distanced tours. All participants are required to bring and wear an appropriate face mask that covers both nose and mouth while on land. You will not need to wear the mask while you are paddling. Please stay safe and get outdoors!
Escape the crowds and find your peace among the redwoods as you glide across the calm waters of the Russian River. Put your phone on airplane mode, and breathe the fresh air, engage your senses, appreciate the world around you, and recharge your mind, body, and spirit.
Paddle yourself back to a time when the only thing that mattered was the present moment. Let the natural beauty spark your curiosity and inspire your sense of adventure. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "It is a happy talent to know how to play" and we wholeheartedly agree.
Feel the flow as you paddle the serene waters of the Russian River and Sonoma Coast Estuary. This beautiful watershed is home to an abundance of wildlife, including river otters, harbor seals, Coho salmon, red-tailed hawks, osprey, and bald eagles. Sharing the waters with these majestic creatures strengthens our connection with the earth and with ourselves.
Just ask! We can customize any itinerary to emphasize your interests. If you have a special request, send us a message, and we will be sure to get back to you soon.
